I need to set up one or more sensors. How do I do this?

First and foremost, there is the system part of a setup. You can read about that here.

Then there is the physical part, which we describe here.
The sensor should be placed 2-4 cm from the front edge of a desk approximately in the middle of the section where you expect the person to sit. As you can see in the picture, this also applies when you need to set up sensors with
range extenders (signal amplifiers, which are used for example on desks with metal drawers).

WarningIMPORTANT: The red dot on the sensor must point out towards the room.
When you set up a sensor on a new desk, you must - regardless of whether it is a completely new or a reused sensor - ensure that there is coverage. If there are other sensors on the desks nearby that are running, then the sensor will normally have good coverage and be within range of the nearest Cloud connector. If, on the other hand, it is for example a new building, new floor or a new section, where you don't know if there are other sensors running, then contact us.

If it is about setting up a sensor that has been used before, it is important that you use new double-sided tape. The tape can be purchased from IoT Fabrikken.
Info
NOTE! You can NOT reuse old tape or the original adhesive that is on the sensor itself.
