I have a new floor plan

I have a new floor plan

If your floor plan has been updated, you can replace it in the system under ADMIN and Locations

Select the location and then the FLOOR PLAN tab. At the bottom of this page there is a button called CHANGE BACKGROUND IMAGE.

IMPORTANT! Before you change the floor plan: A floor plan must always be 1024x768 pixels and in .png format. Since most buildings don't have exactly that aspect ratio, there will normally be a need to insert some white space either to the right of or below the floor plan. This is done for example in Photoshop or Pixelmater.

To avoid having to move all the dots around on the drawing every time you get a new floor plan, it is important that you crop the drawing the same way every time. Find for example a corner to start from.

InfoNOTE! Changing a floor plan requires that you are used to working with images. If you don't feel completely comfortable trying it yourself, you are always welcome to contact us at IoT Fabrikken.
