Grouping sensors – locations

Grouping sensors – locations

If you have many sensors, it can be a good idea to group them so that sensors located physically close to each other can also be viewed together in the system.

You group your sensors by going to ADMIN, Locations. Here, click +CREATE in the upper right corner and give your location a name. This could be, for example, East Wing, Warehouse 8, Aarhus Department, or anything else that fits the way your company is organized.

Once you’ve created a location, you’ll see it when you go to ADMIN, Sensors. Here, you create the individual sensors and assign them to the location(s) you’ve created.

If and when you take down sensors and move them to a new physical location, you can easily drag and drop them to the correct location in the system.
