Change battery

Change battery

Here’s how to replace the battery in your RoomAlyzer sensors:
  1. Start by opening the RoomAlyzer by lifting the front cover. On the RoomAlyzer FULL, loosen the screw at the bottom. On the RoomAlyzer MINI, loosen the two screws in the corners.
  2. Replace the batteries in the sensor.
  3. The sensor is now operational again, but if you want to confirm that it’s active before mounting it back in place, hold a magnet against the magnet symbol on the right side of the sensor until the sensor flashes blue and ends with a single long green flash.
  4. Now press the Status menu item. Here, you can see that the RoomAlyzer has sent data and is actively measuring.
Battery Types

For the RoomAlyzer FULL, we recommend Powerpac Ultra Alkaline size C – the same type that was included in the package upon delivery. Our tests show that these are the most efficient for this purpose – and even affordable!

The RoomAlyzer MINI uses special batteries that must be ordered through IoT Fabrikken at tel. +45 7171 9080 or support@iot-fabrikken.com.

The RoomAlyzer MICRO does not support battery replacement. The built-in battery has an estimated lifespan of around 8–10 years.
