Calibration of the CO2 Sensor on RoomAlyzer FULL
The internal CO2 sensor in the RoomAlyzer FULL is self-calibrating, so in general, you do not need to take any action. However, the sensor may lose calibration if it is subjected to impacts or vibrations, or if it has been out of operation for an extended period. In such cases, calibration may be necessary to ensure accurate measurements.
To perform a calibration:
- Place the device in fresh air (outdoors) with a humidity level below 65% RH, and leave it there for at least 30 minutes.
Place the magnet on the magnet symbol for approximately 12 seconds (wait for three quick flashes in red/green/blue). Be careful not to breathe toward the sensor while calibrating.
Once the sensor has emitted the three quick flashes (red, green, blue), the calibration is complete, and the sensor can be placed or mounted back.
As an alternative to manual calibration, you can also wait for the sensor’s next self-calibration. Self-calibration is normally performed every 700 measurements (which corresponds to about once a week with 15-minute intervals). In other words, you can power on the sensor and simply wait up to a week, and the CO2 sensor will adjust itself.
